Reflection on Abdulla’s presentation

Topic: bullying in schools
Adbulla presented about the bullying. He talked about the physical and verbal bullying.
The bullying was discussed and role of the responsibility of media as a cause of bullying and how to stop it.
The audience was attentive to Abdulla and asked Abdulla many questions about bullying and how this will be dangerous for our society; Abdulla answered them; the body language was good and the voice clear.
The presentation was good and it had much information about bullying and the slides were colorful and informative.

What new did I learn? I learnt about 2 specific cases of bullying:
1) The schools must stop bullying; if not the students will get frustrated; for example the case of Pheobe Prince.
2) I learnt many details about the case of Loujain in the UAE and what were the causes and consequences.

Abdulla Ali started the presentation by introducing himself and Mansoor . After that he explained the flag and the detail of the colors, stars and the old flag. Abdulla showed the main cities in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo and the capital Brazillia. Abdulla talked about Sao Paulo. Then Abdulla talked about the currency of Brazil.
Mansoor talked about the World Cup in Brazil in 2014. Mansoor explained the logo of the Cup and the cities that sponsor the matches.
The presentations were very good and the students learnt more information about Brazil. The body language of Abdulla was good and the answers were perfect.
Abdulla and Mansoor answered the questions well and confidently.

Low cost, the increasing of CO2, economy in Europe.
Hamdan the Chair of the group opened the meeting and introduced the group members and the agenda of the problems. The group members discussed about how to find a new energy.
Hamdan said it good to use the hydroelectric energy, but Hedley said there are some countries cannot afford it like UK and Asian countries that cannot have money to build it. Amer said our country has the ability to use the hydroelectric energy and all the group agreed with him.
Hamdan said to Hedley that the uranium energy can be used in any country and it’s cheap all the group supported Hamdan's idea by giving Hedley an example like the Masdar city and the government 2030 plan about the clear energy to reduce the CO2.
Amer said that at present many countries cannot afford the clean energy, because of the economy crises and Hedley supported him by giving examples of the economy in the UK and Greece.
In my opinion all the group supports the government to build a new clean energy to reduce the CO2 to build a clean life for the people.

1. New Energy:
Hamdan said its a good idea to use the hydroelectric energy.
Hedley worried about the price of the hydroelectric power because some countries cannot afford it .
Amer said that our country can afford the cost of the hydroelectric power and other alternative energy
Othman said our country can use the solar energy, because there is enough sunlight to produce energy and we can use floating windmills in the sea to produce energy.
2. Uranium energy:
Hamdan said that the uranium energy can be used in any country and it’s cheap and Hedley said it is good idea and Othman said that our country is building a new city called Masdar city that will decreas the CO2 and it uses clean energy. Amer said the government support the clean energy by IRENA meeting.
3. Oil effects on the environment:
Amer said that the oil and the gases affect the environment and we must decrease the CO2. Hedley said that we cannot stop using the oil, because many countries in Europe depend on the oil energy.
4. Europe economy:
Some countries cannot afford the alternative energy, because of economic crises like, Greece and the UK.
In the end we reached the conclusion of:
1. Othman and Amer agreed with Hamdan but Hedley said it’s very expensive.
2. The nuclear energy got positive views from the group.
3. The idea of stoping using oil cannot be applied because some countries can’t use alternative energy.
4. Europe will continue using cheap and harmful energy sources due to economic crises and the high cost of alternative energies.

Rashid introduced himself; he is 24 years old and he has a bachelor's degree from HCT in chemical engineering.
Abdullah asked Rashid what is you’re outside interest, he likes traveling and playing football.
Abdullah Ali asked Rashid why he choses ADNOC; because ADNOC are a big company and the salary are very good.
Abdullah Ali asked Rashid if can work under pressure, yes because he had experience in HCT and from his work.
Rashid asked the interviewers what his responsibility would be and Abdulaah said that he will work in the chemical lab.

Mr; Hedley welcomed Hamdan and asked him to introduce himself, Hamdan said he is 21 years old and he finished his chemical programmers in HCT
Ahmed asked Hamdan about his strengths; he organizes his time and share information with his group
Ahmed asked Hamdan what his weakness; he does not want to work at night shift
Yousef asked Hamdan about his experience. He said he had experience in Al Mafraq hospital and he can deal with customers, after that Hamdan asked the interviewers about his responsibility and Yousef said to him he will be a supervisor in the development sector.
